Arrow Digital installs EFI Pro 24f flatbed printer

The EFI Pro 24f leverages variable drop grayscale printhead technology and four colours plus dual channels of white to produce precise, high quality applications on a wide variety of substrates. A multi-zoned vacuum table holds media of different sizes, ensuring tight registration and high image quality.

"The printer's LED curing technology can help users broaden revenue streams, putting less stress on low-cost, low-melting-point and high-margin. This low energy consumption, combined with low volatile organic compounds and less waste and consumables, makes the EFI Pro 24f suitable for environmentally conscious print operations," the company told PrintWeek.

EFI also offers a choice of inks when you order a new EFI wide format printer. Proprietary EFI Pro Graphics Series UV inks have been custom-formulated based on real-world applications. EFI uses the same coloured pigments in each of the EFI Pro Graphics UV ink sets, so that customers can get the same extended colour gamut regardless of which ink set is chosen.

According to the company, the EFI-3M Pro Graphics UV ink can be used for a wide range of flexible applications, including those that need to be stretched, heated and can also be used for diverse range of rigid board and flexible media printing of indoor and outdoor applications. EFI Pro Graphics UV Rigid inks provide a surface resistance and are ideal for printing on specialty rigid media, such as lenticular lenses, steel, aluminum and wood.
